LEKTRO’s Standards Compliance and Quality Control
LEKTRO manufactures its line of battery-powered Towbarless Aircraft Tow Vehicles to the highest standards in the industry. There is no other producer of aircraft ground support equipment that can honestly say that they meet, much less exceed, the quality of LEKTRO’s products.
In addition, LEKTRO is required to meet specifications set forth by various industrial and regulatory organizations. These include, but are not limited to, the American National Standards Institute, the Society of Automotive Engineers, and the United States' Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Also, in May 2002, LEKTRO underwent a complete evaluation by TüV Product Service and was found in compliance with all of the various rules and regulations required for conforming to the CE mark for Europe. LEKTRO has also actively enhanced our Quality Assurance and Configuration Management programs to meet the most stringent ISO 9001:2000 standards. In addition, we are currently in the process of preparing for our ISO 9001:2000 audit. The audit will be with a firm that is fully accredited under the guidelines of the Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB) and RVA to certify LEKTRO’s compliance with ISO 9001:2000. We are projecting completion of the ISO certification around the middle of 2007.
